Lauren and Jake were married on a beautiful (yet very hot) day at Oak Glen Golf Course in Stillwater. Looking at these photos, one may have an idea of the weather that day, but it was really hot outside.

Their engagement session had been the same way.  We shot them about a year prior to the wedding in Stillwater as well and it was so sunny and warm.

Probably our favorite thing about this wedding was how into music the couple is. They are both music teachers, so they KNOW music. It’s not like people that just like music, these two really know their stuff. They had a live band play during the reception, a jazz band during cocktail hour, and an ensemble during their ceremony. All those people were amazing.

Lauren and Jake were so wonderful to work with. When we met them at the second consult to plan out the timeline, it took less than fifteen minutes (which is not the norm). They wanted to just have a very easy day and that’s what they got. They didn’t stress about every little detail and really just wanted to enjoy themselves. The day turned out lovely and we really enjoyed working with them and all the great people at their wedding.
