Brewery Wedding: Irene and Andy | 612 Brew | Minnesota Wedding Photographer

This brewery wedding was the fourth (and last) wedding of our busy Memorial Day weekend. It couldn’t have been a better one to close it out with. We shot it at 612 Brew, a casual environment that made it an easy end to the weekend.

Having four weddings in one weekend was something I was starting to really worry about as the weekend approached. However, this wedding was so awesome to end that weekend on. After three days of blistering hot days, there was actually a heat advisory for this one. The wedding was originally supposed to be outdoors, but due to the heat and actual dangers it could cause, it was moved inside. Regardless of that change, it didn’t damper the day.

We met Irene and Andy at Spyhouse Coffee about a year ago. It is actually where they met, so it’s fitting that they had the wedding just below it at 612 Brew. That building is a photographer’s dream, with the different signs (see below) and the overall architecture. Being Northeast Minneapolis, it was also fitting that a dog walked in during the couple’s photos, making a guest appearance. We shot their engagement session in Northeast Minneapolis as well, so you could tell they really loved the area.

It only slightly began to rain during the reception, a nice break in the heat. Guests were able to enjoy the outdoors once the rain passed, as they ate pizza and donuts, as the couple decided to forgo a traditional wedding dinner. That was one of my favorite parts the day. What better way is there to end a super busy weekend than with pizza and donuts?
