Duluth weddings are so beautiful.  The area is amazing for so many reasons.  You’ve got Lake Superior, the city, and more.  This was a great wedding to shoot.  We have known Amy and Mark for years and Amy works as a florist, so she knows the wedding industry well.  When we did an official meeting with them for the wedding, I made it clear that even though we are buddies, we wanted to do this just like any other wedding, very professionally.  Amy liked that because she takes her flowers very seriously, regardless of who she is working with, so it was wonderful.  And yes, she did all the flowers for this wedding.

This wedding was in Duluth in June.  We had been to the North Shore a couple weeks prior for another wedding and that weekend was COLD.  This was the middle of June yet and it was still a very cold day.  Nothing like being right by the water when it looks like it’s going to rain.  Nonetheless, it was beautiful.  Everyone at Fitger’s Inn was great to work with and Amy and Mark are such a fun couple.

Highlights from the day:

• There were SO many birds outside.  Whenever we shoot in Duluth, there are a ton of birds.
• The flowers were so beautiful.
• During the couple photos, the train went by and you can see people smiling at the two of them from the train.
• At the first look, Mark gave Amy her bouquet.
