Aria Wedding Photography
We shot this wedding at Aria in Minneapolis in November. For those that don’t know the weather in Minneapolis in November, it’s normally not that nice out. It was like summertime outside on this day. Seriously, we didn’t even have to wear coats.
This was one of our last weddings of the crazy year that was 2020. Normally, this venue is PACKED with people, as it’s a huge place. However, these two made themselves a beautiful smaller day. One awesome example of this? Since dancing at weddings has been discouraged this year at the receptions, they wanted a way for their guests to be entertained. They got dueling pianos for the receptions. When first told about this, I didn’t really know what to think about it. The day of? Incredible. I would recommend dueling pianos at every single wedding. It’s not like they just sit there and play the pianos. They interact with the guests and are SO much fun. It’s an awesome option for a wedding day.
Aside from all the craziness of this year, we LOVE November weddings. Why? Well, everyone seems to go nuts for the fall weddings in Minnesota due to the color changing. So October is a big month to get married. As a matter of fact, we actually got married in October. However, November is just right after October and the early weeks can be just as beautiful. Plus, you can also add in some of the winter colors. Reds, greens, blues and more if you feel like being very traditional. There was a lot of red in this wedding and it was simply gorgeous.
