We ended up doing these Minneapolis sunrise engagement photos in the morning because it has been SUCH a busy season! Otherwise, it probably would have been in the evening. Either way, it was a lot of fun.

Kerrie and Jon are total nerds like us. We love it. When we originally met with them to talk about their wedding, they talked about it for maybe ten minutes. The rest of the hour spent with them was talking about Star Wars, Harry Potter, and more. It’s so cool having clients like this. As to be expected, this was all included in their engagement photos.

There were a few things that one would think would have made this difficult. One, we had to do it at sunrise rather than sunset. That was just the availability that matched up. Then, their original location decided to go under construction shortly before the session. Then, I broke my toe days before the session. Because of that, I could barely walk through the first half. Once we got on a flat surface, rather than pebbles, I was all set. We made all of it work.

They brought their adorable dog, Albus Dumbledog, to the session. This dog. SO CUTE. They also brought their lightsabers as well. This is not our first session with lightsabers. In fact, it wasn’t even our last one this season. Like I say, our clients are awesome.

With an engagement session being this fun, we can’t wait for their wedding!
