Wedding: Tess & Eric | Carpenter Nature Center - Hastings, MN

This wedding was an absolute blast to capture, and we had eagerly anticipated it ever since meeting Tess and Eric. They truly are two of the nicest people we have ever had the pleasure of working with. The venue they chose for their special day was the Carpenter Nature Center in Hastings, Minnesota, and it exceeded all expectations. Without a doubt, we highly recommend this venue for weddings, as it boasts breathtaking flower gardens, picturesque trails, and more. It truly lives up to its name as a nature center.

Despite the limited timeframe of only four hours, we managed to capture an incredible amount of beautiful moments. Tess and Eric, along with their family and friends, were an absolute joy to work with, and their positive energy made the photography process seamless. It was a true testament to their wonderful personalities and the strong bond they share.

Adding to the excitement, we had the pleasure of photographing their engagement session earlier in the year. It was clear from the start that Tess and Eric were an adventurous couple, always up for trying something new. In fact, during their engagement session, on a scorching hot day similar to their wedding, they fearlessly hopped into a nearby fountain, creating some truly unique and memorable shots.

Overall, this wedding was an incredible experience. Tess and Eric’s love and joy radiated throughout the day, making it a pleasure for us to capture their special moments. We feel incredibly fortunate to have been a part of their journey and to have witnessed the beginning of their lifelong adventure together.

Tess and Eric were all about nature. They had a very sunny day, so the light was a bit crazy. They totally embraced it, however, saying it was nature.
They had a food truck for their reception.
The reception was all outside and was amazing due to the warm weather.
There were a lot of Japanese details in the wedding due to Eric’s heritage.
