City Senior Photography

Doing city senior photography is always interesting.  I mean that in a good way.  So many people wonder why you would want to do photo session in the city when you could do them in nature.  Don’t get me wrong.  Nature is beautiful.  But so are cities.  There is such variety in cities when it comes to what you can photograph.  And the cool thing about this area of Minneapolis is that there is a bit of a city nature mix.

For those that haven’t been to the Saint Anthony Main area, I’ll break it down for you. Saint Anthony Main is a historic and vibrant area located along the Mississippi River in Minneapolis, Minnesota. It’s known for its mix of old-world charm and modern amenities. The area itself is lined with cobblestone streets, historic buildings, and beautiful riverfront views. One of the main attractions is the St. Anthony Main Theater, a classic venue that showcases independent films and offers a cozy, vintage movie-going experience. The district is also home to a variety of restaurants, cafes, and bars, many with patios overlooking the river, making it a popular spot for both locals and visitors. So I think it goes without saying that you will see a TON of photographers there on any given evening.

Working with Treyton was a joy.  He was a really fun kid and made the session very easy.  We spent time moving from the more “city” looking area to the “nature” side.  As you can see, the fall colors were all abloom and made for some amazing shots.  Also, I loved his outfits!  They were very different but both worked so well in photographs.

We love working with seniors in both city and nature atmospheres.  This is one of those city senior photograph examples that we really enjoyed.
