Theresa and Alain’s had their rainy wedding day at the beautiful White Bear Lake Yacht Club in August, arguably one of the most rainy Augusts we have experienced in a long time.  The Yacht Club is an ideal spot for portraits, so with the rain, we had to improvise quite a bit. Honestly, we think rainy wedding days are some of the most beautiful ones, as they are very unique.
The two are from Chicago, with Alain being from France.  The two met abroad, so there was quite a bit of French being spoken at this wedding.  We actually shot their engagement shoot in Chicago during the World Series last year, as we had already booked a trip out there and it happened to work out perfectly. Make sure to take a look at their engagement photography because it’s amazing. We ran all over that city that day. So many Ubers.
They were married at the St. Thomas Moore Church in St. Paul, another fantastic spot for photos. Â This was an absolutely beautiful wedding, despite the rain pouring down outside.
