Nicollet Island Pavilion Wedding

This was a super fun Nicollet Island Pavilion wedding. We love that spot. It’s such a cool area of the city. One thing I have to say about this wedding is that they pulled off the themed New Orleans themed wedding SO well. Anyone thinking of having a themed wedding, one big thing, you have to dress the part.

Robyn and Dale were married on a very cool day in Minneapolis this November. Not only was it cold, but it was on the water, making things even colder. They’re super troopers when it comes to the cold weather because they did the same for their chilly engagement session. They and their families braved that weather for the photos too, which I always find awesome. Even though it gets very cold in Minnesota, you will find a lot of brides and grooms who refuse to go outside in the weather, regardless.

They had a New Orleans themed wedding and it was SO pretty! Check out Dale’s attire – I just LOVED it. Usually with a themed wedding, we see the brides getting into it, but with Dale, as well as his family and friends, dressing the part too, it really added to it. A few awesome aspects to this day – they had a jazz band, all Southern food, and Church of Cash played their reception. Good luck to the two of them – we loved this day!!
