2017 Concert Photography

As a concert photographer, I had the privilege of capturing some of the most electrifying and unforgettable moments in 2017 concert photography. I’m thrilled to share some of my favorite photos of this year.

One of the highlights of the year was when I photographed Iron Maiden at the Xcel Energy Center. The energy in the arena was palpable, and the band’s performance was nothing short of spectacular. I had a blast capturing their high-octane set and the enthusiasm of the fans.  It’s also pretty obvious that I loved this one because if you know me, well…

Another standout show was Rammstein in Las Vegas.  The band’s intricate stage design and lighting, plus fire, made for some stunning visual moments.  Capturing the energy and excitement of this incredible performance was an honor.  Plus, we both just love Rammstein shows.  We’ll follow them anywhere.

I also had the opportunity to photograph Tom Petty.  We lost him too soon and it was an absolute honor to get to photograph him.

Each of the concerts on this list offered something truly special, from the energy of the performers to the excitement of the crowd. Capturing these moments and sharing them with others is an honor as a concert photographer. I can’t wait to see what 2018 has in store and continue capturing the magic of live music.
