Mia and Carlos’ wedding was our first warm weather wedding of the year, essentially the first of our wedding season.  It was so much fun.  They had North Metro Event Center wedding on a sunny Sunday in May.  It was the exact opposite of the cold winter engagement session we had shot with them only months earlier.  Their day was very laid back and relaxed, the type of wedding we love to shoot and the type we wish upon all of our clients.  It important to remember that your day is only as stressful as you make it.  Just have fun with your day.

One of my favorite parts of the day was their desert.  They had these amazing cupcakes for the guests and a small strawberry chantilly cake for the two of them.  They offered us a piece and it was so yummy.  We had never had that type of cake before and it was so nice of them to offer us a piece of theirs.  Oh, and Green Mill catered their wedding, so the food was awesome all the way around.

Fun side note: we recently shot an adorable maternity session with them. Like we have said before, it’s wonderful working with clients throughout the different stages of their lives.
