Stone Arch Bridge Engagement Photos: Courtney and Nick | Minneapolis | Minnesota Wedding Photographer

We shot these Stone Arch Bridge engagement photos on a very cold day in October. Stone Arch Bridge engagement photos are quite popular in Minneapolis.  However, you can mix up the look with locations on the bridge and the time of day.

We were so happy we were able to do it, as Courtney and Nick originally booked with us, but then their venue double booked. Getting married in September, when Courtney contacted me about the date having to change, I was really worried that we wouldn’t be able to shoot their day. The fall in Minnesota books so early. After a bunch of wrangling, they were able to move their date to a day where we and their venue were both available again and we are shooting their wedding! 🙂 Good thing too because they are both such great people.

We started on the top of the bride on the St. Anthony side. Courtney did the hardcore cold weather thing and wore the dress she brought first to get it over with. These photos don’t look like it, but it was really cold. Afterwards, they did a clothing change and we went under the bridge to get the other shots you see below.

We shot their wedding at the Walker Art Center this last year.  It was a gorgeous wedding where we went all over Minneapolis.  If you are having a Minneapolis wedding, I would highly suggest anyone planning a Minneapolis wedding to check it out.
