Kesley and Jett were married at their Green Acres Event Center wedding this summer on an absolutely beautiful day.  Their wedding by far goes down as one of our most memorable, for a number of reasons.

To begin with, we love a Green Acres Event Center wedding.  It is by far one of our favorite places to photograph.  The venue is beautiful and everyone there is great to work with.  It’s also easy to access in Eden Prairie, but can have the look of also being hidden away for the wedding.  One thing I never forget about the place is that I get a crazy workout shooting there though.  It went up and down the stairs hundreds of times there with many pounds of camera gear on me.

The day started getting ready at the hotel not farm from the venue.  Kelsey and Jett’s family, friends, and guests were SO fun.  The last few months have seriously been nothing but stress for people planning weddings, and it’s wonderful to see those people having fun now.  They did two first looks (one with Kelsey’s dad and then, Jett).  The ceremony was under the trees outside next to the venue.  They then had a beautiful reception dinner.  The day was nice enough that during the reception, a good amount of people hung around outside.  Those beautiful summer nights are so wonderful and everyone just enjoyed themselves.

Highlights of the day

• Kelsey’s shoes!  She had Betsey Johnson wedding shoes.  I LOVE Betsey Johnson.  How she wore them all day was beyond me.
• Cigar photos.  The groomsmen wanted to do cigar photos, so we did them after the ceremony when the night was beginning.  You can see them below.  Seriously, all I want to do now is go dress in “Peaky Blinders” gear and shoot cigar photos.
• Like I said before, their people were AWESOME.  Had this been a wedding we were attending and not working, we would have partied with them until the end of the night.
