Justine and  Patrick were married at the Green Acres Event Center in Eden Prairie on a rainy day, a day that turned out beautiful, regardless of the weather outside.  I have a couple things to talk about when it comes to this wedding – the venue and the couple.

First off, THIS VENUE. WOW.  If you are looking to have a barn wedding, this is the place.  The first thing I saw about it is that it is literally right in the middle of Eden Prairie, but still feels intimate.   That’s cool because there is easy access for guests.  If I had an ideal time to shoot at this venue, it would be around Christmas time.  It has such a cozy feel to it that I felt like cuddling up by the fire with hot chocolate and a big blanket the moment I stepped in. It’s just fantastic.

Next, Justine and Patrick.  These two are wonderful. It’s really fun to work with people who are very excited about their day.  Their first look was the sweetest first look I have ever seen. Seriously, it’s the reaction that all women want.  Patrick just broke down when he saw her and hugged her right away, to the point where I got maybe one shot of Justine’s reaction.  It was so sweet.  It rained like crazy the day of the wedding, but they didn’t let that phase them.  When we photographed their engagement session, it was very cold, so they were most likely just used to the crazy weather.

The photography opportunities at this venue are unreal.  Just look at them.  It’s great and this whole day was really fun.  Again, congrats to Justine and Patrick!
