Old Mill Park senior photography is COOL.

We hadn’t heard of this spot until this session was booked.  Quinn’s dad asked that we do the session at Old Mill Park in Hastings.  He described the environment and we were all about it.  For those of you that have not been there, it’s a great spot.  One of the park’s standout features is its natural beauty. The Vermillion River flows through the park, creating a serene and scenic backdrop. Tall trees provide shade and add to the park’s tranquility, especially during the warmer months.  As the name suggests, Old Mill Park is home to the remnants of an old mill, which adds a touch of history to the site. The mill ruins are a reminder of Hastings’ industrial past, and they can make for an interesting exploration for history enthusiasts and photographers.  These are many of the aspects that make Old Mill Park senior photography so wonderful.

This was a REALLY hot summer day.  You wouldn’t know it looking at the photos, but wow.  We actually had another session that morning.  So we were running all over the state.  Despite the heat, Quinn and his dad were great.  They were really fun to work with.  We loved the aspects of this shoot that were different than our other.  One of them being the graffiti marked walls.  Regardless of it being graffiti, it looks really good in photos.  It adds a punch of color that the nature couldn’t provide.

This year has been a big year for senior photography for us.  We have met a number of awesome new people and can’t wait for the fall senior sessions.
