Lauren and Tina are getting married on Halloween next year. Let me tell you, if you want a way into our hearts, do that. We LOVE shooting anything Halloween related.

Kyle met these two at music festivals and found out they were engaged.  He then found out about their Halloween wedding and was like, “You’d better hire us for this.”  Of course, they did.

The two of them live hours from us, roughly an hour north of my parents’ house.  We just happened to be visiting my parents at the end of October and we met up to do an engagement session.  It was so fun because they had pumpkin masks that they wanted to use.  They asked us if we minded doing a shoot with them and we were like, “Oh, we need to do this!!” Not only  that, but they also brought their cat, Buffy.  Buffy’s name is after the vampire slayer.  The cats we used to have were all named after the vampires in Buffy the Vampire Slayer.  Love it.

We met early at Amnicon Falls, a gorgeous spot.  We always try to do earlier shoots at popular spots like this.  It was cold and rainy  that day.  About three fourths of the way into the shoot, a ton of people still showed up.  It was hilarious too because once they put the pumpkin heads on, people were just loving watching the shoot.

The photos with the pumpkins are literally some of my favorite photos we have ever shot.  There were very simple poses that just looked SO fun with those heads on.  Cool thing about them too is that when you have a mask on, you’re just more comfortable.  You don’t even have to look in the right direction!  So those pumpkin photos were just ridiculously fun.

We’ve really come to get some awesome clients over the years.  As our business progresses, we find more and more people that we just love working with.  Lauren and Tina are a perfect example of this.
