I’m just going to say it now – these were really cold engagement photos.  Now, we knew these were going to be cold engagement photos when this got booked. But when it gets windy during the winter in Minnesota, we all know how brutal that is.

We met up with Kiera and Logan at the Saint Paul Hotel for this shoot.  It was nice because we all sat in the warm lobby and planned out the shoot before running into the cold.  For those who may think looking at these photos that we are kidding, it was eight degrees outside.  With wind.  So it felt well below zero.  Kiera and Logan had nice outfits on under their jackets, but made the decision immediately not to take their jackets off.

We ended up shooting in Rice Park and over at the Saint Paul Library.  The two of them were just laughing the whole time, making for an awesome session.  Due to the temperature, we had to run back into the Saint Paul Hotel three times.  Kiera kept getting extremely cold, so there was no staying out there the whole time.  The people working at the hotel were so nice.  All you can do in that weather is joke around and we were all a part of that.

They are going to be getting married in November at Como Conservatory.  It may be a chilly month to get married, but it will all be inside.
