Silverwood Great Hall Wedding

Hannah and Sean were married on a wonderful summer day at the Silverwood Great Hall in St. Anthony, Minnesota. This was our first Silverwood Great Hall wedding, so we were super excited. It did not disappoint. The venue itself is known for its spacious and sophisticated design. The Great Hall features a high, vaulted ceiling. That ceiling is supported by exposed wooden beams, creating an open and airy atmosphere. Large windows allow natural light to flood the space, providing beautiful views of the surrounding area.

I know, that’s a lot about the venue. So we will move on. But it’s a cool spot for nature fans. We met Hannah and Sean last October. Much like most of our clients, they are just fun people. We knew right away that we wanted to work with them. They are just our type of people. We did their engagement session in January. Now, this next party is going to sound crazy. But you have to understand that Minnesota basically had no snow last winter. We did sessions in December that looked like summer. Well, on the morning of Hannah and Sean’s engagement session, it snowed. They took it in stride. However, it was cold. Hannah had planned for even slightly warmer weather, so her clothing was not for that cold weather. The photos turned out so fun though. We just love them.

Highlights of the Day

The venue! Loved the big glass windows that showed all the surrounding nature. It’s the type of place we could have been at all day.
Hannah’s dress was BEAUTIFUL. Now, I know I say that all the time. But her dress is the kind of dress I would wear if I was getting married again. She looked like an absolute princess.
They did a Baumstamm sägen (a traditional German log sawing) at the end of their ceremony.
Again, another great dance floor. We have had awesome dance floors this year.
Everyone was so fun. It’s so great when family and guests are just as wonderful as the couple.
