Family Engagement Session in Minneapolis

What is a family engagement session, you may be asking?  It’s the term I use for the combo of a family and engagement session.  There you go.  Easy.

Deven and Ryan brought their kids with during their engagement photography, as they wanted them included.  This is often a hit or miss when people do this, but their kids were awesome.  They were really fun.  When Deven and Ryan were changing outfits, they hung out with us and were just easy to talk to.  Kyle is an ace at talking to kids, but myself, not so much.  But I had a lot of fun with them too.

This session was great.  We love Saint Anthony Main for it’s versatility.  I’m a huge fan of how the lights in the theater look in the evening.  It’s just a cool location regardless of the time of day.  We were able to shoot by the river and also give them a nice city feel in these photos.

We were really excited to work with Deven and Ryan, as this was not the first time we had worked with Deven.  She had been in a wedding we had shot in the past.  Not just any wedding either.  It was a wedding of a group of friends whose weddings we have shot.  So we are so happy to be shooting their day.  Also, they are getting married in South Dakota! We are especially excited about this becuase we drove though South Dakota a few years ago on the way to Seattle, but never got to enjoy it.  It’s going to be an awesome time!
