Brackett’s Crossing Country Club Wedding Photography

This is our first Brackett’s Crossing Country Club wedding. And this was actually a wedding we were waiting for for a while. And we were so happy to photograph it.

We have been working with Kaylie and Alex for a while now. Alex contacted us a couple years back to photograph a proposal session. It was in the middle of a snowy winter, on our off season. When we arrived at the session, we were not extremely excited. Not because of them, rather because we don’t like shooting in the cold. It can make for a tough time for both us and the couple. However, we met the two of them and they could not have been more fun. Alex actually decided not to propose that day, so we just did a couples’ session. It was ridiculously fun. You wouldn’t have known it was as cold as it was.

Well, then came the time for an engagement session many months later. Alex had proposed to her without a photo session. Now, they wanted us to do engagement photos. It was pretty much the exact opposite of when we did the winter session. We did the session at 10am at the same place and by 11am, it was sweltering hot.

Of course, after that came the time for the wedding. The two were married at Brackett’s Crossing Country Club in Lakeville, Minnesota. It was such a beautiful day. We all just had so much fun.

Highlights of the Day

Their venue is ten minutes from our house. I know that’s not a highlight on their end, but it sure is with ours. It’s SO nice to only have to drive ten minutes after shooting wedding.
Again, just working with Kaylie and Alex was so fun.
Their pets were on the napkins.
They had animal treats for people to take home to their pets.
They did private vows after first look. We love this trend.
