Centennial Lakes Engagement Photos
This Centennial Lakes engagement session was awesome. It was right in the midst of our crazy busy season too. We had another session after this one in Rochester. There was also a ton on our plate between those two sessions. Being a photographer is nuts. You’re either doing nothing during slow season or absolutely everything during busy season. There really is no middle.
Regardless, we love it. Melanie and Ryan are an example of clients that we absolutely love working with. We had met with them roughly a month prior to discuss their wedding. Turns out, Melanie is a scare actor. And in case you are unaware of what that is, it’s an actor that scares you in haunted houses. That’s AWESOME. The hysterical thing is that Ryan has no interest in haunted houses and all that at all. Which I feel makes sense. It always seems to be the case. But let me tell you, that really made me want their wedding, being a person who wants it to be Halloween all the time. We were ridiculously excited to get their wedding.
Of course, there were other reasons. They are just sweet people who we knew would be great to work with. They met at Dave and Busters and wanted to know if we could do some photos there. Hence, the photos below. Not to mention those super fun Zelda ones that were just icing on the cake. Those were their more casual fun photos of the session. But how about Melanie’s dress in the first photos?? Love it.
They will be getting married this August and we couldn’t be more excited to be working with them again.
FUN FACT: When we were shooting, we saw one of the Property Brothers walking around the lake. Melanie and Ryan had no idea who he was. We were just like, “Omg, it’s one of the Property Brothers!”
