Outing Lodge Wedding Photography

Joe and Timm had an Outing Lodge wedding on an absolutely beautiful fall day in Stillwater, Minnesota.  We LOVE this venue.  It’s this historic little bed and breakfast hidden away in the woods in Stillwater.  Add the fall colors to this, and you too, will fall in love.  It’s like a fairy tale in there.

We met with Joe and Timm last year.  The two are just really nice people and we were really psyched to be working with them.  We shot their engagement photography in Stillwater as well. That day was a chilly and windy one, more so than their wedding day.  One cool thing about the wedding day was that we haven’t had a whole lot of fall colors this year.  Their weekend had the most I have seen all year.

Highlights of the Day

• • Joe and Timm had suits that were like a burnt orange color.  They matched the colors of the leaves around them so much.
  • Speaking of matching colors, the women’s’ dresses were a green shade that matched the grass.  Everyone matched their surroundings, which was so cool.
  • It was their niece’s first wedding. She was awesome – cheering and dancing the whole time.  Also, she said good night AND Happy Halloween to me when she left for the night.
  • They signed the wedding certificate with a plume feather.  That was AWESOME. People also signed the guest book with it.
  • They had one of those antique phones that guests could leave voicemail on. I love seeing this at weddings because I think it’s so cool to listen to years later.
  • The cupcakes were AMAZING.
