It’s the first engagement photography session of the big 2024 season!  We were really excited to do this session because it means the big year is beginning.  Joe and Timm are really nice people too.  They wanted to do engagement photography in Stillwater, so we decided to start in Pioneer Park.  We have shot wedding photography in Pioneer Park before, so we know the space.  For such a small area, you can get so much photography done there.  The view is beautiful.

We met Joe and Timm last year when they reached out to us to shoot their October wedding.  It will be at the gorgeous Outing Lodge in Stillwater.  That being said, it makes sense that they wanted their engagement photos in Stillwater as well.

From the start, it was an incredibly windy day.  However, we couldn’t complain.  We booked this engagement session months earlier and we were all anticipating it being very cold out.  After all, it was early March.  Instead, we got no snow with a sixty degree day.  A little wind was nothing.

We began the session at the park and then went down to the main street.  When most think of Stillwater, they think of the main street and the walking bridge.  Joe and Timm definitely wanted the walking bridge in their photos.  Why wouldn’t they?  It’s like, the epitome of Stillwater.  It was a great time.

This wedding season is packed full.  Joe and Timm’s day is one of the days we are really looking forward to. It’s going to be such a fun time.
