Saint Paul Hotel Weddings

We absolutely love shooting Saint Paul Hotel weddings. If you’ve been there, you know why. The place is amazing. It just screams classic wedding at it’s core. We have photographed multiple weddings there too. So when Nicole and Jimmy reached out to us to shoot their wedding there, we were really excited.
When they first emailed us, they immediately wanted us to do their wedding. Anyone who knows us, or works in the wedding industry, knows we require a consult before booking. It’s simply because we have to figure out if the people and events are real. Plus, we want to ensure that we and the couple are comfortable with one another. It’s really important. So we got them on the phone and they sounded awesome. Hence, the booking. It wasn’t until two weeks before the wedding that we actually met them in person. They opted out of an engagement session, which is when we often meet couples. So we were a little nervous, as I’m sure they were as well. There was no reason for that because they were really nice people that we knew we’d have fun with.
Needless to say, we were again, really excited about this wedding.
Highlights of the Day
- They had a band! Getting a band for your wedding day is awesome. A band brings a kind of energy to a reception that a DJ simply cannot. Plus, people are more apt to get up and dance with a band.
- The color of the bridesmaids dresses was so cool. It was a gold color and it was just beautiful. It fit so well with the blue the groomsmen wore.
- They had an amazing desert table. Just looking at it, you wanted to eat all of it.
- Everyone was just so wonderful that day.
