September Engagement Photography
This was a super fun September engagement photography session. First off, they brought their dog. That’s always a good time. Seriously, he’s so cute. He’s also going to be at their wedding, so hooray! Second, they asked if they could get in the water. You never need to ask that. We LOVE when couples want to do fun stuff like that.
Much like many of our other engagement sessions, we shot this at Lebanon Hills in Eagan, Minnesota. The park is fantastic for photography. So much variety and the place is huge. The sunset was beautiful that evening, which was nice because the weather had been rather questionable surrounding the date.
Dana and Ross are such nice people. We had a great time working with them. We unfortunately were not able to get into the water. The lake was closed due to something being in it. So we shot photos in front of it. We all had a lot of fun with that. I absolutely loved Dana’s dress. It was so fitting for the sunset and nature feel.
They are getting married at Woods and Co this upcoming January. It’s a newer venue and just beautiful. Also, it’s always fun to do at least one winter wedding a year. Winter weddings are so beautiful in a way that most don’t think of until they see them. We can’t wait!
