Okay, these two…SO much fun.  This was a Minneapolis Event Center wedding and I can’t even tell you how wonderful it is to do those.  A Minneapolis Event Center wedding is the wedding that has a venue with an incredible staff that cares about the couple and the vendors.  That math makes for a great day for everyone involved.

Becky and Jeff were married during Aquatennial, pretty much right on the site of it.  For those of you familiar with the Minneapolis Aquatennial, you know that doing anything that day is going to be a bit of a challenge.  They were married in their church and then had their reception at the Minneapolis Event Center, a venue we simply cannot get enough of.

They were both a lot of fun to work with.  As you can see from the photos below, they were both very carefree and laughing throughout the day.  I personally love working with people like that, as they make our job very easy, but I also think they show that weddings are only as stressful as you make them out to be.  Every day will have issues, but if they happen, you just need to be as positive as possible.

One rather unique aspect of this wedding was that we ventured out to shoot with the fireworks.  There were obviously a ton of people on the riverfront to watch them, so we eventually found a side area that only had a few people.  The hilarious thing?  Once we started shooting, the people that had initially been there to only see the fireworks ended up more excited about the wedding photos than anything at all.  They were cheering them on throughout the fireworks show.
