Minneapolis Golf Club Wedding

Ahh, the first real snow of the Twin Cities this year. On October 28…makes absolute sense for a fall wedding in this state. Regardless of anything, Nicole and Blake’s wedding at their church and Minneapolis Golf Club was so beautiful.

This wedding was pretty crazy. Seriously, after having a diamond missing in the ring, the dress being wrong, the dog eating all the papers needed for the day, the weather, and more, I have to give Nicole and Blake extreme credit for being as calm as they were this day. Their wedding day was beautiful and it just goes to show, regardless of what happens, you can still have an amazing day.

I was freezing all day. However, Nicole, in her beautiful wedding gown, was all about going outside and getting some great bridal portraits. She’s awesome. I must have asked her fifty times if she was okay and if she wanted to go in. The beginning of the day was a little tough, as there was no first look, so getting family and bridal party photos was quite a crunch. However, after the ceremony, we all took off to the Punch Bowl Social in St. Louis Park for some really fun photos and a lot more relaxation.

We had never shot at the Minneapolis Golf Club and WOW, what a venue. The photos have to speak for themselves because their reception was just incredible. The course itself also makes for a great spot for photos, if you are having your day there and don’t want to run all over the place. The autumn colors were just amazing and we were able to get so much in such a small amount of time, which is great for everyone involved.

One thing I loved – Nicole and Blake had coffee wrapped in burlaps bags as their gifts for the guest. As soon as you walked into that room, it smelled like a coffeehouse and it was fantastic. I thought that was a cool gift too because even if you don’t drink coffee, you know someone who does, so it’s something that guest will really appreciate and enjoy.
