At RKH Images, we have been lucky enough to capture some truly beautiful engagement sessions, but Tonya and Steve’s Canal Park engagement photos in Duluth, Minnesota was one of our favorites yet.

From the moment we met Tonya and Steve, we could tell that they were head over heels in love. They had such an infectious energy and were so excited to share their love story with us. We were thrilled to be a part of their journey towards marriage and to help capture these precious moments.

The shoot began at Canal Park, which was the perfect setting for this lovely couple. With the stunning backdrop of Lake Superior and the iconic Lakewalk bridge, we were able to create some truly stunning images.

Tonya and Steve were such a joy to photograph. Their love was so evident in everything they did, from the way they looked at each other to the way they laughed and played together. We were honored to be able to capture these beautiful moments for them to cherish for a lifetime.

The Lakewalk bridge was another fantastic location for photos. Tonya and Steve walked towards us hand in hand, looking absolutely adorable and in love. We were able to capture their love in such a natural and authentic way, and we were so pleased with the results. One of our favorite photos is the one of them with the lighthouse in the background. It’s so iconically Duluth.

Overall, Tonya and Steve’s engagement session was an absolute joy to capture. We are so excited to continue to work with them as they move towards their wedding day and to capture even more beautiful moments of their love story. We can’t wait to see what the future holds for this incredible couple!

Update: it’s been years now since this session and their wedding. We LOVED their wedding! It was a cozy little time in a cabin in the woods. The day was simply wonderful.
