These two were so fun to work with. Jillian and Jared booked us online for their January wedding.  They came in from Madison for a wedding prep weekend which included shooting with us.  We decided to shoot their session at Hidden Falls Regional Park in Saint Paul.

Jillian is originally from Austin, Texas, which had me all happy because of my love of all things Southern.  We met with them for coffee prior to the shoot to get to know one another a bit and I started in about how much I love grits and Southern (and Texas) accents, so this wedding is going to be SUCH a treat for me.  Both Kyle and Jared talked about how much they do not like grits, which I just found hilarious.

We originally wanted to find the hidden falls in the park, but that simply didn’t happen.  We have been to Hidden Falls Regional Park since this shoot.  The falls were mere feet from us.  However, they were hidden due to fallen trees.  The funny thing is that now, you can find the falls.  You can’t see the beach though.  It is covered in water due to the flooding last winter.

Their wedding was absolutely beautiful.  It was very cold, but they had a wonderful indoor venue.
