Some of you may be asking why we are shooting White Bear Lake engagement photography when we are located much further away from there? Well, the truth is that we really like the look of White Bear Lake engagement photography. Years ago, I couldn’t tell you where White Bear Lake was. However, we have photographed SO many weddings there in the past few years that we have kind of fallen in love with it. For those that have never been in the area, there is an area that has a very quaint small town look to it. I would compare the “style” to perhaps, Stillwater. Then, you can head over to the lake and see the water as well.
We met Caitlyn and Chris on Zoom last May. Prior to the pandemic (and once again now) we always met people in person. The only exception is if you live far away from us. It really helps us get to know each other as people. That is tough on Zoom. So we had that going for us. On top of that, this engagement session was shot on a Sunday. Not only had we had a wedding that Friday and that Saturday, we also had two consults on Sunday morning. We were a bit exhausted. That’s why I was so grateful when Caitlyn and Chris said hello because they were both SO nice.
They again are the type of couple that just seems to have a lot of fun in life. They made the session so easy and that was so wonderful for us. Their wedding is next September and we are so excited for it. And yes, they booked us in May of 2021 and are getting married in September of 2022. That’s so common this year. 2022 is going to be CRAZY!!!
