Hansen Tree Farm is by far one of our favorite places to photograph. It has such a nostalgic feel to it, especially when the chilly weather kicks in. Therefore, Hansen Tree Farm engagement photography is awesome!

This engagement session fell upon the same day that we were doing mini sessions at Hansen Tree Farm up in Anoka.  It was great because we just rolled through so many awesome sessions at once.  Photographing in a Christmas tree lot is just so much fun.

We had met with Morgan and Jake weeks earlier to discuss their wedding.  It was great to get their engagement photos done so soon so we could work with them again right away.  They’re both such nice people.  The day of the session, it was really busy at that location.  If you’ve ever been there, you know what I mean.  It’s a super popular spot.  We did some photography in the really popular area, but then managed to find an area where literally no one else was.  That was pretty amazing and we were super happy about it.

Another cool thing about this session?  There are photos in this that look like sunset.  It was one in the afternoon.  The sun was hitting the trees just right. Again, Hansen Tree Farm Engagement Photography, awesome.  The day also turned out to be pretty nice considering it was the middle of November.  The weekend prior saw snow in the same location and such colder temps.

Their wedding is next October on our anniversary weekend.  We are so excited (again) to be working with them in the coming months!
