These city engagement photos were so fun.

We had worked with Liz and Phelan in the past and were thrilled when they asked us to photograph their wedding, and as we always do, engagement photos. They not only wanted city engagement photos, but they wanted a session that was, “date night meets rock and roll meets fashion”. Enter, Kyle.

As everyone knows, Kyle knows how to shoot rock and roll photos.  He also knows music and albums covers and all that jazz, very well.  When I mentioned what these two were looking for, we were super up for the challenge.  However, I was going to let Kyle take the reigns on this one because it is SO his style.  He took inspiration from a number of album covers and implemented them into this shoot.  It was amazing.  Liz and Phelan knew how to rock this shoot, which made it all the more fun.  I mean, just look at their outfits.  We showed up and met with them and were like, “You too look SO GOOD!”

It also turned out that the new Prince mural had just been unveiled a couple days prior, so we headed over to First Avenue to get photos there, as well as in front of the mural. It was just an amazing shoot from start to finish and we can’t wait to shoot their wedding next year on Kyle’s birthday.
