Golden hour engagement photography is the best.  We don’t get to shoot golden hour engagement photography as often as we would like.  With as many concerts as Kyle photographs, it just doesn’t work out well.  So when we shoot them, we just LOVE it.

Much like 90% of our weddings booked this year, their wedding is within five months of securing us as a photographer.  It’s a trend that is going on now that I don’t understand.  However, we’re happy as all get out to have them as clients.  The two are getting married in August.  They had already had engagement photos taken and I’ll be honest, they were beautiful.  All of our wedding packages come with complimentary engagement photos, so they decided to do a session with us too.  I’m really glad they did because I recommend that all couples do an engagement session.  You become accustomed to working with your photographer. As photographers, we become accustomed to your preferences. More importantly, we learn what you don’t like.  Nothing is better than having clients comfortable with us on their wedding day.

They booked us over the phone, so this was our first meeting.  They are SO nice!!  We had so much fun working with them.  After years of doing this, you can tell when people are really in love.  These two certainly are.  They easily had fun together the whole time which made this session so easy.  There was a point where the humidity pretty much turned on outside.  Despite this, we were all able to joke about it and have fun.  This gives me good feelings about the upcoming wedding day. They relax and have fun together, which will make for a great day.

We’re very excited to be shooting their day at Ahavah Cottage, a venue we have never shot at before.  It looks so beautiful and will make for a wonderful summer wedding.
