Mom and Son Photos

I think when a lot of people think of mom and son photos, they think of little kids. Like, moms getting photos taken with their babies or young sons. However, moms really always want photos with their kids. They could be a grown adult and moms will be excited to get photos done with their kids.  Doing photos with an older kid is always so much different than with little kids, for obvious reasons.  They were both super easy to work with.  We focused on a lot of traditional and “cheesy” poses because they are both just really fun and enjoyed it.

As was the case this day when we did a photo shoot with Nancy and her son.  Kyle has known Nancy for many years, so it was fun to see them again.  As you can see in the photos, it was INCREDIBLY windy.  It’s so funny because we kept moving from spot to spot.  Each time we would move, the wind would whip up over there.  So we just went with it.  Excelsior can be really windy during shoots.  We have done a lot of photo shoots there, including family and engagement sessions.  It’s just a beautiful area, what with the water and little town.
