I’ve said it before. Morning engagement photos are amazing for so many reasons.
Katie and Noah’s winter morning engagement photos were shot at Saint Anthony Main on a chilly day. This was actually at 9 in the morning. At first, due to the weather, we asked if they still wanted to do it that early. But they were troopers and got up early to photograph in the cold.
We love photographing in the morning for several reasons. But they mainly are the light, less people are out, and it gets everyone up and going for the day. I can’t even tell you how many times we have done photo shoots in the morning and had breakfast or brunch afterwards. It’s really easy when you are self employed to sleep in, but this forces you up. Plus, it’s something we all laugh about every time.
Katie and Noah are super sweet people that were really easy to work with. They are the type of people that were really nervous about the photography, but had fun once they got into it. As always, we just tell people to be themselves. Some worry about that, but it really makes you shine in photos.
We are very excited to be working with them next year at their Water Street Inn wedding in Stillwater, Minnesota.
