We were so excited about shooting this newborn photography!

The cool thing about this family is that we have shot SO many moments in their lives together.  Originally, we shot Mia and Carlos’ wedding.  Since then, we have had them as a reoccurring client.  We’ve done newborn photography of all their kids in that house.  We literally could put three photos together of all of them days old in the same room.  When Mia contacted us about doing maternity photos, we were super excited.  They were having their third baby.   Their little family is SO adorable and we love working with.  However, there is a reason that maternity session is not on this blog.  It was a bit of a tough one.  Their daughter was not having anything except her mom.  If she stepped a foot away from her, she would get really upset.  My niece is actually a lot like this, so we’re pretty used to it.  Not only that, but it got really cold during that session unexpectedly.  As a result, we got photos for them, but everything was totally chaotic.

After their second son was born, Mia sent me a video of her telling her daughter we were going to do photos.  She asked her if she was going to smile in the photos, to which she said, “…yes…”.  It was so cute.  Their oldest son is awesome.  He’s just ridiculously fun in photo shoots.  Their daughter was much more smiley in candids, which we love anyway.   Candid photos of kids are the best because it’s just them being kids.

We find it amazing getting to document a family as it grows.  You just sit back and go, “Wasn’t your wedding just yesterday?”  We remember that day so well and now they have three super cute kids.
