Let me tell you, March engagement photography is not something that is normally too popular with  us.  After all, who plans on March engagement photography in Minnesota?  This year was different.

The weather has been all over the place this winter.  Last week, it started at thirty degrees and later went up to nearly seventy.  The day of this session, it was forty, but so windy that it felt like ten degrees.  This was actually the second shoot of our day, as we had one early in the morning.  It was Saint Patrick’s Day weekend and the weekend of Kyle’s mom’s birthday party.  So it was BUSY.

Caitlyn and Brodrick booked us last summer for their wedding this upcoming June.  They are one of our many out of town clients, so they actually flew in from Philadelphia to do a bunch of wedding stuff and photos.  When we asked them what else they had gotten done on their trip here, it was amazing.  They had met with so many vendors and gotten SO much done.  Not too mention, they were smiling practically the whole time we shot with them.  It’s always nice to see people not extremely overwhelmed by planning.

Another fun thing, we are actually shooting Brodrick’s sister’s wedding this coming fall.  Not only that, her engagement photos are next weekend.  We have done the weddings of siblings before, but never in the same year.  We find it pretty cool that an entire family booked with us.  It shows a lot of trust and that’s really nice to see.

We are really excited to be shooting their wedding at the Landmark Center this year.  It’s been a few years since we’ve shot at that venue and it’s such a beautiful place.  Keep an eye out for their wedding photos!
