Wedding on Ice: Amy and Travis | Roseville Skating Center

Yes, this is a wedding on ice. It is what pops into your mind when you see those words. The couple had their wedding on ice.

This was awesome. We had met Amy years ago when we shot her friends‘ wedding. So it was really cool to get to shoot her day. We photographed her and Travis’ engagement photos on a warm December day. Looking at these photos, you would NOT know it was December. But it was so much fun. It was the first time we had met Travis and we were so excited to work with them again. They were both just great people. The same goes for everyone else on their wedding day.

Highlights of the Day

Again, they were married in the middle of an ice rink. How cool is that??
Amy’s dad told her during their first look about how this was the first rink she skated on as a kid. Then we all cried.
Instead of a walk down the aisle, Amy and her dad did a skate around the rink. It was to “Forever Young” by Rod Stewart. And again, we all cried, lol.
She and Travis did a skate together after the ceremony.

There actually are a ton more highlights, but we’d be here all day if I mentioned them all. It was an amazing day. And let me tell you, getting to shoot on an ice rink when it was super hot outside was awesome.
