Stonebrooke Golf Club Wedding

This was our first Stonebrooke Golf Club wedding. We were pretty excited about it. One reason being, it’s close to us. We have had a lot of weddings this year that required a lot of driving. That gets tiring at the end of the wedding day. So having one only fifteen minutes from us was nice. The other reason is because Haley and Christian are friends with one of our past couples, Kelsey and Jett. We loved Kelsey and Jett’s wedding. It was our first big wedding after the pandemic. That day made us so happy and made us feel that our business would continue on past that rough time. So when Haley and Christian booked with us, we couldn’t wait.

The day itself was crazy when it came to weather. We were driving to the venue and out of nowhere, it began to POUR. Not light rain, pouring. It was that kind where we nearly had to pull off the road due to visibility. Because of this, we thought, “This might be a tough day.” But by the time Haley was doing a first look with her dad, it was bright sunshine out. Hours later, the moment the ceremony ended, it rained again, then went sunny. This happened again at the reception. Mother Nature was all over the place.

After a really fun and easy engagement session last summer, we knew this wedding would be great. Everyone involved was so fun. We also got to see Kelsey and Jett again, as they were in the wedding party. It was just a wonderful day.

Highlights of the Day

Everything actually started EARLY. You heard that right. A wedding started early. Hair and makeup was way faster than everyone assumed, Haley’s dress took two minutes to get into, and everything ended up early. It’s like a wedding industry person’s dream.
The had a very short ceremony. It was walk down the aisle, exchange rings, and kiss. This was probably for the best considering it started raining right when it ended.
Their venue was awesome. It was a place we hadn’t shot at before and would love to shoot their again.
Friends of past couple! We love working with people that know our past couples. It makes the day that much easier.
