Hazeltine National Golf Club Wedding Photography

Samantha and Andrew were married on a beautiful fall day in Chaska, Minnesota at their Hazeltine National Golf Club wedding.

This was pretty fun for a few reasons. One, we had photographed Samantha’s brother’s wedding this June. So it was great to get to work with the same family again. Second, Samantha and Andrew are just two of the nicest people you’d ever want to meet. Seriously, we really hope to work with them again because they are just wonderful.

We met with Samantha and Andrew after booking her brother’s wedding last year. We then did their engagement session in Taylor’s Falls last winter. It was such a fun session, despite how chilly it was.

This was just a wonderful wedding day. It was interesting because it was a little colder in the morning. We made a lot of comments about how we had shot in the past on that weekend with rain and snow. However, when we left, it felt like a summer night.

Highlights of the Day

The two of them did a private first look and a private cake cutting. We love that. Honestly, even though it’s your wedding day, you don’t get a lot of alone time. Doing some things privately is really nice.
Andrew did a dance with his daughter after the parent dances. It was so sweet.
The venue was GORGEOUS. It was the first Hazeltine National Golf Club wedding for us and we’d love to go there again
On the way to the church, they stopped with the wedding party at the Excelsior Docks. We got a photo of them under the big sign, which we just love. Totally worth the stop.
Again, working with the same groups is always fun.
