Taylor’s Falls Engagement Photos

We love shooting Taylor’s Falls engagement photos.  The area is SO beautiful.  Regardless of the season, it’s gorgeous.

That being said, this entire winter has been not normal.  It’s been so sunny and warm with such small snowfall.  It just so happened that the weekend of Samantha and Andrew’s session, we got a lot of snow. It was so funny because we had shot her brother’s engagement photography the week prior.  There was absolutely no snow then.  We felt like we had shot in a different area of the county because the weather changes were so extreme. Regardless of how chilly it was, we had so much fun with these two.

Samantha and Andrew were both such fun people.  I feel that really shows in these photos.  Much like other clients, they seemed a bit nervous at first.  That could have actually been due to the cold.  Either way, the second half of the session was just fun.  The second half of sessions is ALWAYS the best.  Once people realize that we are there to create some awesome photos for them and they can just relax, they have a great time.

These two are getting married this October. It’s really funny because we are shooting Samantha’s brother’s wedding in June.  She told us that would be like a practice version of her own wedding.  She’ll get to see how it goes the first time around with us.  I love that attitude.  It’s the kind of humor I feel I’d have in this situation.

We are really excited to work with these two and their families this year.
