We spent sunset with Ashley and Matt for their engagement photography in Minneapolis. Not only them, but their Corgis as well.
This was our second engagement session of the day. It was a little crazy on our end because we had to rush from Eagan to Minneapolis throughout construction. Not only that, but since this was a sunset session, we couldn’t be late. Otherwise we would have run out of light. It was so funny because when we were looking for parking, we drove past them. We saw them getting the dogs out of the car and I was like, “I think that’s them!” Luckily, we all made it right on time.
As it’s been stated before, we love when people bring their pets to any photo session. They have two Corgis. It was so funny because when we first met, we showed them past sessions. We have SO many couples who have Corgis. It was one of the things that warmed up the conversation tremendously.
We love shooting at Saint Anthony Main in Minneapolis. It’s just such a cool spot. It’s one of those places that are great when looking for engagement photography in Minneapolis. There were several other photographers there when we were, for good reason. We were able to get multiple photos by the river, as well as more city based ones. It’s awesome for those that want a variety in locations.
Ashley and Matt are getting married next year at Chankaska Creek Ranch and Winery. It’s a gorgeous venue and we are very excited to be working with them (and the Corgis) again.
