Senior Photos at Mill City

We love doing senior photos at Mill City.  Mill City is this cool area in Minneapolis, Minnesota surrounded by downtown Minneapolis.  It’s just so unique.  Plus, with the city so close by, you can get so many different looks.

It was really fun getting to do Johnny’s senior photos.  We had actually shot his brother’s senior photos years prior.  His brother’s photos were some of our favorite that we had done.  Those familiar with this site will know him as the senior with the saxophone in his photos.  We love saxophones. The family was great to work with then, so we were excited to hear from them again.  2024 seemed to be the year of photographing the siblings of other kids’ whose photos we had done.

Johnny originally wanted to do photos in Target Field.  However, that was more difficult of an ask than his family had thought at first.  Especially with it being baseball season.  So, we did photos around the field.  We then went down to Mill City where Johnny switched from casual clothes to formal ones.  Last year, we had a lot of seniors that did a more formal outfit.  I have to say, I love it.  They have such a different look to them than the typical shots we get for seniors.  From here on out, for senior boys, I always recommend at least a suit jacket. Even if you put one over a shirt and jeans, it looks fantastic.
