The Gardens of Castle Rock Wedding Photography
We are super excited to be shooting this The Gardens of Castle Rock wedding! We had never shot at this venue before. However, we had seen it online and it looks so beautiful. So when Taylor and Lewis contacted us to photograph their day, we of course said yes.
Taylor and Lewis have been together for well over a decade. They made it blatantly clear that this wedding was more for their family than anything. The two of them are so chill to work with – it’s just awesome. One fun little bit of trivia about the day. They originally wanted May 25, 2025 as their date. That date was one of the most popular of the year. Why, you ask? Because it’s 5/25/25. People love that stuff. We already were booked for May 25,2025 and so were all the venues they looked at. And they looked in advance. So they accepted the fact that they would have their wedding on May 26 instead.
We first worked with them at their engagement session at Centennial Lakes Park. The day was one of those days that is sunny, but the sun betrays you. Minnesota likes to do that. It looked like a beautiful day, but it was really cold. The irony of that was that they specifically waited until May to avoid the cold winter. Nonetheless, it was a wonderful session. They are so much fun.
Highlights of the Day
- This was our first time at The Gardens of Castle Rock. I CANNOT say enough about that place. Seriously, if you are looking for a beautiful venue, check it out. BEAUTIFUL!
- Loved Taylor’s dress. This is probably the second short wedding dress of our career. They are great because you don’t have to be constantly picking up a train.
- They had “As the World Falls Down” for their first dance song. As a huge Bowie fan, I lost it when I heard that.
