Creekside Farm Weddings and Events Photography

Alexis and Ryan had their September wedding at Creekside Farm Weddings and Events in Rush City, Minnesota. This was our third time at Creekside, so we were really exited. The two of them booked their wedding with us two years in advance. Good thing too, because September 20 was our most popular 2025 date. I have no idea why. But SO many people were asking for it. And here it is!

Their engagement session was really fun. Alexis really wanted to wear a red dress in the session. Someone had told her that red was the worst color to wear for photography. That makes me laugh so hard because I LOVE photographing red. I have joked often that I wish we always had a woman in a pretty red dress with us when we drive past pretty places for photography. This is one of those cases where you should always leave photography to your photographer. The engagement photos were in the winter. They booked an Airbnb and we did half of them outside and half inside. The inside photos were so cozy and fun.

Highlights of the Day

This was the first time we were able to do an outdoor ceremony at Creekside. The last wedding we shot there was 90 degrees. The one prior to that was -27 degrees.
Alexis did all the decor herself. It was GORGEOUS.
People in the wedding surprised her with a fully choreographed dance during the reception.
