This Minneapolis Event Centers Wedding was a long time coming. Alex and Zach booked us two years in advance. This is also our last wedding of 2025. There’s always kind of a happy and sad feeling around that. Happy, because we have been working like CRAZY. Sad, because it’ll be months before we work again. But we were super happy that this was the wedding to end our year on.

We’ve known Alex for years. So when she got ahold of us to do her wedding, it was a lock. We did their engagement photos right away. That was one thing I loved. They were getting so many things done right away. Many may think that isn’t necessary. And it isn’t. But if you do, you don’t have to think about it again. Then you’re not in a mad rush when the wedding gets closer.

Highlights of the Day

Alex had a black wedding dress. That is so awesome. It’s our second black dress of the year. We love when people do the non traditional.
She wore Doc Martens. That’s just a me thing. I love Docs.
Alex did all the flowers. That has become a really common thing lately. I wouldn’t have the patience for it. But I have been told by brides and grooms alike that it is very relaxing.
I have to give a shout out to their DJ. He really saved the day because at 3am, they got a call from their original DJ. His car had been stolen with all his gear in it. So we got a text asking if we knew a DJ at about 6am. And so did everyone else. This DJ was SUPER last minute and was awesome.
