Some couples naturally settle into the moment during their engagement session. Colin and Grant? They spent the entire evening laughing.

Seriously, these two are so much fun to be around. They’re the kind of couple that can’t help but smile whenever they look at each other. Every joke led to more laughter.  Every candid moment turned into another grin, and getting a serious photo out of them was nearly impossible. And honestly? We’ll take that problem every time.

We spent the evening wandering around Saint Anthony Main as the sun began to set. For those unfamiliar with this corner of Minneapolis, it’s one of our favorite locations for engagement sessions. Between the historic cobblestone streets, views of the Mississippi River, and the winding trails throughout the area, there’s so much variety packed into one beautiful location. It provides the perfect backdrop for couples who want a little bit of everything.

What made this session so memorable wasn’t just the location, though—it was how easy Colin and Grant are to be around. They brought so much energy, joy, and genuine excitement to the evening that the session felt more like spending time with friends than work.

These two will be getting married this October at Quincy Hall, and after spending an evening with them, we couldn’t be more excited for their wedding day. They are both incredibly kind, thoughtful people, and if their engagement session was any indication, their wedding is going to be filled with laughter, happy tears, and a whole lot of fun.

We can’t wait to celebrate with them this fall.
