Minnesota Landscape Arboretum Photos

This engagement session was so much fun!  Makenna and Eric are going to be getting married at the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum.  So they wanted to do their engagement photos there as well.

We actually had not met them in person yet.  They booked us over the phone this winter.  We met at a gas station close to the Arboretum because it was a busy day there.  It was easier to just take one car in.  The two of them are so nice and I just love Makenna’s style.  Her dress was so cute.  I made a comment about how I liked the black lacing on the back of her dress.  Eric told me she had switched it out from the original one.  That’s when I was like, okay, she’s cool.  That and her hair is just awesome.

One thing we knew 100% is that Makenna absolutely LOVES willow trees.  Like, that was her thing for the wedding.  I love that because you so often hear of must haves for weddings.  Things like super spendy dresses, specific venues, and more.  She just wants the willow tree.  So they are planning on having the ceremony under that tree.  We made sure to get a bunch of photos under the tree as well.  That was really cool because we got to see it and envision what it would look like the day of the wedding.

The Minnesota Landscape Arboretum photos are wonderful.  We have shot there a few times and have more sessions booked there this year.  Regardless of the season, your in for some natural beauty.  We have photographed people there in winter, fall and spring and it’s always been amazing.

We are really excited for their wedding next year.
