Lumber Exchange Wedding Photography
We love shooting Lumber Exchange wedding photography. It’s a really cool venue seated in downtown Minneapolis. We have shot there multiple times and were happy to get back there again for this wedding. We were also happy to get to this wedding because we have photographed this family’s weddings before. That’s always a fun time. When you go into a wedding with people that you have worked with in the past, it’s so much easier of a day.
It had been a long time since we had seen Leslie and Brian when we met with them to go over their wedding day timeline. We had shot their engagement session nearly a year prior to the wedding. The engagement session was great. We got to meet their dog, Sully. He very much stole the show both at the engagement session and wedding. Also, it was a night that was supposed to rain and it turned out to be beautiful. It was lovely getting to see them again and we were so excited for their day.
Highlights of the Day:
- Sully – their dog. He took over the day and it was awesome. He would NOT leave Leslie’s side. It was so cute. When we got there, he was laying in a little bed next to her makeup chair. When she was buttoned into her dress, he was right there. During couple photos, he sat down on her dress. It was so cute.
- Leslie has one of those infectious smiles that makes you super happy when you see it. You can tell in the photos.
- The decor! Omg, do you see these flowers??
- They had a quartet sing during the dinner. That was super cool.
- We got to do group photos on the roof of the parking ramp. We haven’t been able to do that before due to weather. The only time we were up there before, it was -10 degrees and we were out there for a quick snow photo.
