Genesis Ranch Wedding Photography
This was SUCH a fun day. Seriously, the couple, the guests, everyone was so nice. The venue was wonderful and everyone we worked with was great. Love days like that.
This was the first time we photographed at Genesis Ranch. It’s a gorgeous venue and one I would recommend highly.
I swear, the rain just loves to fall when it comes to these two getting photos taken. Originally, we had their engagement session scheduled and it got heavily rained out. It rained on the reschedule date, but we shot regardless. The day before their wedding, it POURED. We had photography sessions that day and had to move them all. Then it rained the morning of, very early. But it finally cleared up for their wedding.
Highlights of the day:
- Maddy’s hair. We got there and I got all excited because she was having braids done. Love braids. Then she had jewels and flowers put in. SO PRETTY.
- They had a band! It’s one of our favorite things that can be incorporated into a wedding.
- Speaking of the band, Maddy got up and surprised everyone by playing the guitar and singing Paramore’s “Still Into You” with the band.
- When they did their first look, Mitch did this little jump when he turned around and saw her. It was adorable.
- Their food was amazing.
